Upon receiving your puppy, you are covered by a 72-hour initial health guarantee. We recommend having the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within this time frame to confirm its health status.

• If the puppy is found to have a significant health issue during this period, you may return the puppy for a full refund or exchange, provided you present a written statement from the examining veterinarian. The puppy must be returned within 72 hours, in good condition, and with all the original paperwork.

1-Year Genetic Health Guarantee

We offer a 1-year genetic health guarantee for all puppies sold at Misty Australian Shepherds. This guarantee ensures that the puppy is free from serious genetic defects that could negatively affect its quality of life.

• If a genetic condition is diagnosed within the first year of ownership, and confirmed by a licensed veterinarian, you may choose one of the following options:
  • Refund: A refund based on the veterinarian’s diagnosis and assessment.
  • Replacement Puppy: A replacement puppy of equal value (subject to availability). In case of a replacement, the original puppy must be returned to us unless otherwise agreed upon.

Conditions of the Health Guarantee

For the health guarantee to be valid, the following conditions must be met:

• Veterinary Examination: You must have the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within 72 hours of taking ownership. Failure to do so will void the health guarantee.
• Proper Care: The puppy must be provided with appropriate care, including maintaining regular veterinary visits, vaccinations, and a healthy diet. This guarantee will not cover any conditions resulting from negligence, injury, or improper care.
