Refunds and Return Policy

At Misty Australian Shepherds, we are committed to ensuring the health and happiness of our puppies, as well as the satisfaction of our customers. Below are the terms and conditions regarding refunds and returns:

Refunds

  • Refundable Deposit: A refundable fee of £400 is required to schedule appointments for pickups, visits, halfway meetups, or home deliveries. This deposit will be applied toward the final purchase price of the puppy.
    • Cancellation Policy: If you cancel or reschedule your appointment with at least 48 hours’ notice, your deposit will be fully refunded.
    • Late Cancellations or No-Shows: Cancellations made with less than 48 hours’ notice or failure to attend a scheduled appointment will result in the forfeiture of the £400 deposit.
  • Full Refunds on Puppy Purchase: Once a puppy has been purchased, no refunds will be issued unless covered under the health guarantee (see below).

Health Guarantee

At Misty Australian Shepherds, we take great care to ensure that all of our puppies are healthy and well-socialized before they go to their new homes. We offer the following health guarantees:

  • Initial Health Guarantee: Each puppy comes with a health guarantee covering the first 72 hours after purchase. We recommend having the puppy examined by a licensed veterinarian within this time frame.
    • If your veterinarian identifies a significant health issue within this period, you are eligible for a refund or exchange. The puppy must be returned to us along with the veterinarian’s statement.
  • Genetic Health Guarantee: We offer a 1-year genetic health guarantee for congenital issues that may affect the quality of life of the puppy. If a genetic health issue is identified within the first year, and a licensed veterinarian confirms the condition, we will either provide a replacement puppy or offer a refund based on the veterinarian’s assessment.
    • Documentation Requirement: To qualify for a genetic health guarantee refund or replacement, written documentation from your veterinarian is required.

Returns

  • Return Policy: We do not accept returns for reasons such as a change of mind or incompatibility with your home after the puppy has been purchased and taken home. We encourage you to carefully consider your decision before purchasing.
  • Rehoming Assistance: In the rare event that you are unable to care for the puppy after purchase, Misty Australian Shepherds is happy to assist in finding a suitable new home. However, we do not provide refunds in these situations.

Non-Refundable Items

  • Transportation Fees: Any travel or delivery fees incurred (for halfway meetups or home deliveries) are non-refundable once services are rendered.
  • Additional Costs: Any costs associated with veterinary care, food, or puppy supplies after purchase are the sole responsibility of the buyer and are non-refundable.
